The Electronic TCF

The storage of documents comprising the TCF, and their control, is a bulky and time-consuming task.

We at AMWIL reduce the bulk and ease of control by recording the entire TCF on 'Read only' CD.

We have developed the software, arranged the CAD links, integrated the scanning systems and collect the documents to an easy index linked to each section.

The CD will hold the complete documentation required to prove compliance. This ranges from brochures, drawings, test reports, certification, risk assessments, check lists etc.

This documentation will come in different formats and styles but more importantly at a level of revision of issue related to the equipment assessed and/or tested to comply with the CE Directives.

If the equipment is in 'series' production it will inevitably have changes made to it as product improvements are made. These changes have to be reflected in the TCF under the control of a Design Change Note (DCN) procedure by Serial No.

We are able to provide to our clients with a copy TCF for submission to an enforcement Body or a Court, as a tamper free record. It also makes the task of updating the file from the DCN procedure an equally controlled action by cutting a new CD.

The resulting collection of CD's provides a history of changes from the time the equipment was certificated as CE compliant.
